Dorset’s reform riots of 1831, although not as devastating as those in Bristol, provide some fascinating case studies. Recent research by Dr Roger Ball of Bristol Radical History Group has yielded new information and will probably lead to a pamphlet so keep an eye out, or book one of his talks.
